據北京市環境保護監測中心發布資料，11月2日清晨北京城六區『細顆粒物』污染指數為200-220，屬重度污染。根據新華網報導，11月3日清晨吹起的北風驅散了霧霾，城六區『細顆粒物』污染指數為35-55，指數級別為優。
