【林世雄／台中報導】台中市外埔區天下一家及自然特區兩個社區，在蘇力颱風過境時，社區後山發生土石崩塌，大量泥沙衝入社區，台中市議員楊永昌今天邀集農田水利會、水利局、建設局等單位，與住戶進行溝通，會中決定，將由農田水利會出資，在上方山坡處興建一條截水溝，解決排水問題，預計在一個月內發包施工，幫居民解決心頭大患。
 
楊永昌說，天下一家及自然特區兩個社區，共有200多戶居民，現在是每逢颱風或是大雨來襲，居民都會擔心住家的安全問題，晚上都不敢睡，而住戶把問題指向後山上面的中華民國農會牧場的排水不佳，造成雨水沖刷所致，特別向他陳情，希望幫忙解決水患問題。
 
他說，農田水利黛在會中同意出資300餘萬元，在上方山坡處興建一條長300多公尺，寬1公尺，深70公分的截水溝，解決排水問題，再由建設局負責路面鋪設，解決當地排水不良的問題。
