| 巴西世界盃球場工地意外 傳2死

【李忠謙／綜合外電報導】2014年世界盃足球賽明年6月將在巴西開踢，由於球場興建進度落後，當地仍有6座球場忙著趕工。但位於聖保羅的Itaquerao球場工地昨發生意外，一座大型吊臂倒塌，壓垮局部結構，目前已知兩死。
聖保羅當局第一時間表示有3人罹難，但消防局後來在官方推特上更正為2死，另有1人疑似被壓在瓦礫之下。據稱該球場已完成94%，原訂下個月可以驗收，如今工地發生意外，恐怕完工日期將被迫延後。
還有將近半年巴西世界盃就要開始，但Itaquerao球場附近仍一片荒蕪。美聯社

| 立委考察蘇澳海軍基地 肯定官兵戮力戰訓辛勞

（軍聞社記者林宜慶宜蘭廿七日電）立法院外交及國防委員會今日由召委陳鎮湘率隊，一行四人前往蘇澳海軍基地考察戰備整備實況，對艦隊戰備訓練成效及官兵高昂士氣，表達嘉勉之意。
立院外交及國防委員會召委陳鎮湘上午率蕭美琴委員、陳歐珀委員、王進士委員，由國防部副部長嚴德發上將、副參謀總長李喜明中將、海軍副司令許培山中將等人陪同，前往蘇澳海軍基地考察，視導戰備緊急出港操演及防空演練，肯定官兵戮力戰訓本務的付出，展現新一代艦艇優異戰力。
期間，立法委員們也聽取海軍一六八艦隊募兵招募概況簡報，並提出相關建言。
召委陳鎮湘委員表示，臺灣四面環海，海上戰力的發揮非常重要，尤其共軍航母戰力已逐漸成形，將對臺澎防衛作戰構成更大威脅，海軍應研擬有效因應對策，以確保我海、空域安全。
陳鎮湘委員也期勉艦隊幹部要持續落實人員訓練、裝備維護及人員安全，並配合各項戰演訓時機，針對戰術運用及準則教範實施驗證，建構堅強可恃的防衛實力。
陳歐珀委員指出，海軍是專業兵種，艦艇上先進的電戰裝備、防空武力，均需更專業人員操作，才能發揮戰力，各單位除應落實人才培訓，更應招募優秀青年加入海軍，多管道深耕校園實施招募作業，掌握有意願學生並綿密保持聯繫，進而讓他們選擇從軍為「志業」。
座談會最後，嚴副部長特別代表部長嚴明感謝立委們對國軍的建言，他強調國軍積極改善官兵生活設施，爭取提高待遇，增進青年學子對國防政策及軍事事務的認同與支持，並鼓勵優質人才加入國軍行列，盼如期達成募兵工作，建構一支現代化專業的國防勁旅。
