林園區51歲劉姓婦人昨天上午在東林西路住處燒炭自殺，警消獲報出動雲梯車到場救援，現場冒出陣陣白煙，消防人員動用破壞器材進入屋內，隨即將倒在客廳沙發婦人送醫急救，婦人到院後已恢復清醒。

警方根據婦人留下的遺書內容寫著「臭男人」，研判可能和男友感情生變，一時想不開。詳細原因仍待進一步釐清。

英國東英格蘭大學研究者指出，地球成為適合生命存在的時間尚約有17.5億年之久，在這段期間，地球仍位於能提供適合各種生命生存條件的適居帶範圍內，之後因為距離太陽過近，導致溫度升高、海水蒸發，將不利生命生存。

東英格蘭大學研究者盧斯畢表示，「適居帶」（habitable zone）概念是從行星距離恆星遠近是否能出現適合孕育生命的液態水的範圍加以估算，也就是說，行星表面溫度屬於能夠存在液態水範圍內，這個地區就可能孕育生命。從推估結果來看，地球離開適居帶時間，約出現在17.5億年至32.5億年後。

因為在17.5億年後，地球距離太陽的位置，剛好名符其實出現在「熱區」範圍內，也就是距離太陽過近，讓地球表面溫度升高，最後導致海水蒸發，可想而知，對人類在內的生命將是一場大災難。研究者盧斯畢表示，「適居帶的時間多寡很重要，因為它告訴人類複雜生命的演化潛能，有可能需要適居條件時間更長才能完成。」

這次研究也發現，行星繞著質量較小的恆星公轉，其位於適居帶範圍的時間較長，其中一例便是克卜勒22b行星（Kepler-22b），它位在適居帶時間約43億年至61億年，另一顆葛利斯581d系外行星，適居帶時間最長，可達547億年之久。

克卜勒22b行星為系外行星，於2011年12月5日被發現，距離地球約600光年，由於其距離公轉的恆星比地球距離太陽距離短，也因此被認為相當適合生命生存。葛利斯581d行星距離地球約20.5光年，質量約地球8倍，科學家觀察發現，該行星也位於適居帶範圍內，代表其可能有液態水或生物出現。

本次研究結果已刊登在《Astrobiology 》期刊。

【曾雪蒨／台中報導】台大醫院外科醫師柯文哲今天應阿米巴社團邀請，到台中市演講有關醫療制度的現況與改革，對於是否參選台北市長，他雖說不打算因選舉加入民進黨，但是他也語帶保留表示：「很多事都可以坐下來談談看，世間一切皆有可能，只是機率多少而已。」
 
他說，自己一直都是以對民眾最有利益為最大考量，對於民進黨內部有人說他像「自走砲」難控制，他笑稱，民進黨內不受控制的「自走砲」有好多枚，他原本就不是民進黨員，目前也沒有考慮為了選舉加入民進黨，但他也不否定雙方間仍有很大的可能性。
 
柯文哲坦言，台北市是個藍大綠小的市場，綠贏的機率很低，但他也展現醫者的自信與企圖說：「機率很低和機率是零不同！」他也以2008年陳水扁以民調支持度76％爭取連任，卻連任失敗輸給馬英九，「竟然有76％的人認為你做的不錯，卻把票投給別人，這情況在世界政治史上恐怕只有這一例，也是我至今仍在找的答案。」
 
此外，對於有人主張新增桃園縣為台灣第六都，柯文哲不客氣抨擊「這是哪個王八蛋決定的？」他認為不能為了要卡住蘇貞昌，就想出這個破壞台灣行政區規劃的爛主義；他也不客氣的以親綠友人身分語重心長的警告，民進黨目前採用的「死狗理論」很糟糕，這種因馬英九民調掉到9.2％就想等對方倒下，收現成魚翁之利的心態，會讓民進黨執政之路更「遙遙無期」，他提醒自我要進步、創新，才有機會重新執政，「政治沒那麼困難，找回良心而已。」

香港南華早報今天獨家報導，中國大陸政府日前做出重大決定，將解除上海自貿區的網禁，區內人士將可自由瀏覽多年來一直被內地政府視為政治敏感的一些國外網站，包括全球兩大社交媒體facebook和Twitter，以及紐約時報等報章的網站。

南華早報報導，了解內情的匿名政府消息人士透露，自貿區管理部門將邀請國外電信公司競投區內互聯網服務牌照。大陸三大電信巨頭──中國移動、中國聯通和中國電信都已獲悉此事，知道在上海自貿區將直接與國外對手競爭。

消息人士還說，三大電信巨頭並未過多抱怨，主要因為他們明白這一決定已得到李克強總理等高層領導人的批准。李克強期望上海自貿區能成為主要試驗場，試行國內重大金融和經濟改革措施。

這位要求匿名的政府消息人士說，自貿區若要吸引外國公司投資，讓外籍人士能夠安居樂業，就必須打造一個賓至如歸的環境。如果外籍人士不能登入臉書或瀏覽紐約時報網站，便會認為自貿區與內地其他地區相比並無特殊之處。但這位人士也表示，只有上海自貿區才會解除網禁，內地其他地區並無此舉。

南華早報說，facebook和Twitter曾在中東的茉莉花革命中，發揮重要作用。大陸2009年起封鎖這兩個社交網絡。儘管大陸現已成為僅次於美國的世界第二大經濟體，但仍然嚴密控制媒體，通過中國公安部運作的金盾工程（俗稱長城防火牆）封鎖了許多網站。另外，「紐約時報」去年曾報導中共前總理溫家寶的家人通過秘密投資聚斂巨額財富。
