【楊忠翰／台北報導】「沒想到有人會為了安全帽去報案！」本月4日凌晨1時許，台北市24歲的林姓男子，為了載送初結識的同性朋友返家，竟跑至西門町紅樓廣場後方巷子內，偷了一頂深色安全帽，未料過程全被監視器所拍下，失主憤而報警，警方以車追人，順利將他約談到案。

林嫌向警方供稱，當時他不想放棄接送機會，所以一看到安全帽放在腳踏墊上，他便直接拿走。現在因貪圖一時方便而鑄下大錯，他感到十分後悔，並希望交還安全帽之後，對方能高抬貴手，警方訊後仍將他依竊盜罪移送法辦。
