昨日，谷歌官方對外表示，Google大中華區負責人劉允已經離職，接任者為谷歌歐洲戰略合作拓展業務負責人ScottBeaumont，此人將於8月履職，負責谷歌大中華區業務運營。

據谷歌內部人士透露，劉允的離職十分突然，就在14日他還參與了在北京舉辦的 “APEC工商領導人中國論壇”。

Google在聲明中表示，“在領導大中華區業務6年之后，劉允博士決定離開Google。過去6年中，劉允博士在大中華區業務的發展中扮演了舉足輕重的角色，我們由衷感謝他為此所做出的重大貢獻。我們會想念劉允博士，並對他的未來給予誠摯的祝福。”

相關資料顯示，劉允在2009年9月李開復辭任谷歌大中華區負責人之后接任，2010年初，谷歌調整內地市場業務，將伺服器搬至香港。此后，谷歌內地市場多項業務也相繼關停。

接替李開復，讓外界看到了谷歌在內地市場發生的改變：從高調宣講轉為務實運營。2011年初，劉允也對外披露了谷歌在內地市場的三大業務重點：出口業務、展示廣告、移動互聯網。而對於谷歌使用“退出”一詞，劉允強調，谷歌只是搜索界面從.cn搬到了.com.hk，只是做了個技術上的轉換，除非特殊情況的內地用戶在使用上會稍有不暢，大部分時間和以前沒有區別，“我們其實從未離開過”。

即使劉允不承認谷歌的離開，谷歌在內地搜索市場的份額卻在持續下降。

互聯網專家陳志剛認為，即使空降新的高管任職谷歌內地市場負責人，也難以輓回勢。

就在此前，速途研究院發布的《2013年1季度搜索引擎市場分析報告》中顯示谷歌在內地搜索市場的份額僅剩下3.57%。而在谷歌未退出內地市場時，其市場份額一度超過30%。

不過，也有分析稱，隨劉允的離任和ScottBeaumont上任以后，Google的內地市場戰略可能會出現相應的調整。

就在此前，市場一直傳聞Google在通過各種方法協調關係，意在重返內地市場。比如Google中文搜索撤下了敏感詞提示，隨后Google前任CEO、現任執行董事長埃裡克·施密特今年1月11日在內地公開出席活動，似乎也讓人們看到了谷歌重返內地市場的跡象。

對於谷歌內地市場新掌門人ScottBeaumon，谷歌方面表示，ScottBeaumon具有國際的經驗，擅長於移動和品展示廣告業務，是一個好隊長。

《每日經濟新聞》記者查詢職業社交網站Linkedin的資料顯示，ScottBeaumont具有豐富的電信業資歷：在2009年加入Google之前，他任RefreshMobile公司的共同創始人和CEO；在此之前，他擔任T-mobile的執行副總裁。他還在匯豐銀行中長期擔任過電信行業的股票分析師。

“從ScottBeaumon的經歷，Google可能會加強大中華區在電信業務尤其是移動互聯網方面的作為。”群媒體創始人、資深IT媒體人陽淼對《每日經濟新聞》表示。在陽淼看來，具體的舉措包括了安卓系統在內地市場的拓展。

值得注意的是，歐洲市場此前對Google並不算友好，法國電信向Google收取流量費，義大利等國宣佈Youtube侵犯隱私，還有一些國家的出版商抵制Google圖書計劃。

“ScottBeaumon在這個硬骨頭市場打拼了5年，Google總部把他派到內地時，不知道是否考慮到了他豐富的鬥爭經驗，如果確實如此，那說明Google總部對谷歌內地市場有了新的期待。”陽淼表示。
