【綜合報導】全美關注的佛羅里達州29歲白人社區警衛齊默曼（George Zimmerman）槍殺17歲黑人少年馬汀（Trayvon Martin）一案，全為白人女性的6人陪審團在台灣時間昨天上午做出裁定，被控二級謀殺的齊默曼獲判無罪，當庭獲釋。

判決出爐全美各地皆發起抗議活動，怒斥司法不公，民眾連署請願上訴，短短數小時就有超過35萬人連署，連署網頁流量過大還一度當掉，不只民眾，名人也加入聲援行列，美國歌手碧昂絲(Beyonce)在田納西州舉行的世界巡迴演唱會上，呼籲歌迷為馬汀默哀，並獻唱唱一曲《I Will Always Love You》。蕾哈娜(Rihanna)也在推特上表示，這是她聽過最悲哀的消息。

前幾天《紐約時報》上有一篇有趣的文章，分析了韓國文化，尤其是其嚴格階級制度，不管你的表現如何，而是看你的頭銜和年齡，這種對長輩絕對尊重的要求，以及這些因素如何導致最近在舊金山發生的韓亞航空不幸空難事件。

文章認為，在韓國社會中，尤其是在許多駕駛是直接從韓國空軍轉任的航空產業，嚴格的階級制度存在於每天日常生活和溝通中。團隊必須要毫無疑問的尊重最老的經理，溝通方式非常間接，不能夠說前輩是錯的，或是對他們的判斷有懷疑。當在非常短的時間中，需要決定是否是有人為操作錯誤導致需要去加速或是拉升高度時，許多時間浪費在這個間接的溝通形式上，資淺的員工會很難去直接指出資深者的錯誤，因為這被認為很不尊重而且是丟臉的。在正常情況下，當一切順利時，這種嚴格的階級制度可能沒什麼問題，但當團體碰到嚴峻的挑戰，和過往情況完全不同時，就可能造成災難，他們自己的文化會變成劇毒讓他們無法改變並拯救自己。

文章並沒有更深入的討論相關議題，比如說對企業和社會的影響，以及當處理嚴峻社會挑戰時因跟隨這種嚴格階級制度而造成的無力改變。但總之你看得出來有這個暗示意味。

在社會運作順利和諧時，這種社會規範可能沒事，但是長期來說，這種文化可能會造成嚴重的社會問題，年輕人會對責任有種事不關己的感覺，因為他們的意見常常被忽略或是不被重視；公司和產業很重視年資，而非員工真正的表現，結果就是產業或是國家因效率下降而逐漸失去競爭力，溝通失敗，社會流動性變得很小，整個社會機器開始故障。

因為對於面子和階級嚴格社會規範，導致兩邊缺乏溝通，逐漸失去競爭力，結果導致政府和公司效率下滑等等......，這些都聽起來很熟悉？
