宏碁（2353）今天宣布與成功大學超級電腦中心合作，建構無網路交換器架構的小型超級電腦，藉由8台宏碁Altos R380 F2伺服器、搭載英特爾Xeon E5 系列處理器，成功打造出無網路交換器、亦能維持高效能平行運作的高速運算主機原型，藉此配置可大幅節省超級電腦的建置成本，進一步提升效能，維持高彈性的客製化模組。

宏碁商用市場企業產品總處長林祖威強調，此次宏碁與成功大學的產學合作案例，在無網路交換器架構下，宏碁協助整合軟硬體技術及資源，將新超級電腦架構付諸實現，開拓了一個嶄新的領域。

繼2011年國網中心合作案後，再次證明宏碁提供的高速運算解決方案，能符合超級電腦嚴格的標準與規範。

由奇美集團創辦人許文龍發起的台灣海域保護及監測協會，選定台南市二仁溪主要汙染源三爺溪，今天下午在仁德區文賢橋進行第一次水質重金屬採樣工作，動員價值60萬元的「最新型攜帶式重金屬快速分析儀」，可快速檢測12種重金屬。

協會執行長、前立委王幸男說，二仁溪是惡名昭彰的「黑龍江」，主要支流三爺溪匯集工業區的事業廢汙水排入海洋，經年累積在河川、底泥、海口，並透過食物鏈影響人體健康，但中央政府並未檢驗及公布，地方政府也束手無策，希望促使政府重視，定期檢測公布二仁溪水域及出海口漁產安全數據。

在傳統印度婚禮樂聲中，新娘 Amrita Mannil 走進婚禮會場，她頸項戴了 4 條做工精致的項鍊，手上有數個戒指、16個手鐲，腰間繫著閃亮的腰帶，像小吊燈一樣的耳環，還有鑲著寶石的頭飾搭配衣服上的金邊，她身上穿著 800 克 (約21.3台兩) 的金飾。婚禮儀式上，她的夫婿 Vimal Mohan 又再為她繫上一條金項鍊。新娘的姊姊說，黃金就是女孩的財產，新娘結婚時所配戴的金飾要愈多愈好，這不但代表著家庭的地位和財富，也讓新娘在家裡抬得起頭來。

《彭博社》報導，新娘身上所穿戴的珠寶嫁妝在印度文化與社會中有重大意義，印度人會在節慶時購買黃金，也使印度在去年成為全球黃金消費量居冠的國家。印度與中國對黃金的需求，使金價從 2000 年以來上漲超過 1000 美元，其消費下降也導致今年金價下滑 23%。

印度對黃金的需求逐漸復甦，但該國所有黃金用量幾乎全為進口，這使印度總理 Manmohan Singh 意欲壓低經常帳赤字與阻止盧比繼續貶值的工作相當有難度。2012 年，印度的黃金需求占全球約 20%，印度財長  Palaniappan Chidambaram 則於今年 3 度加稅，盼以此調控黃金消費。

現在印度國內金價已比 2008 年時上漲一倍。新娘 61 歲的父親這次買給她的金飾就比 5 年前姊姊結婚時來得少，他說他這次只買了 100 個 8 克金幣，算是買得少的，有些人家嫁女兒要買 300 至 400 個金幣。世界黃金協會(World Gold Council) 預估，印度今年的節慶及嫁妝黃金需求，將會從去年的 864.2 噸成長至 900 至 1000 噸。

今年全球經濟不振，投資人對黃金的保值信心也有所下滑，以 11 月 15 日的每盎司 1290 美元來看，金價在今年跌了 23%。不過印度的強大需求應當對金價形成一定的支撐，以盧比計的黃金價格只跌了 1.7%。

印度女子出嫁配戴黃金的習俗代代相傳，母親們也會把自己當年的金飾傳給女兒。印度的婚俗市場是該國珠寶業命脈，年產值約達 1 兆盧比 (159億美元)。全印寶石與珠寶貿易聯盟 (All India Gems & Jewellery Trade Federation) 主席 Haresh Soni 指出，長期來看，印度黃金需求仍然堅強，除了文化與社會意義之外，印度人從生至死，在各種宗教儀式與場合，都少不了黃金。

印度珠寶業者為招徠顧客，播放更多電視廣告、戶外廣告，還大手筆請寶萊塢明星代言。孟買黃金協會 ( Bombay Bullion Association) 董事 Prithviraj Kothari 則稱，印度每年平均舉辦 500 萬場婚禮，每個婚禮平均要購買 200 克 (約5.3台兩) 的黃金。

印度政府為削減經常帳赤字，希望能在 2014 年 3 月底前，將 12 個月的黃金消費量從 845 噸下壓至 800 噸。不過此調控措施使得印度黃金供應缺乏，顧客還得先付訂金訂貨。業內人士  Bachhraj Bamalwa 表示，政府越是採取控制措施，民眾就愈想買，因為他們擔心政府可能會禁止進口。

除了禮俗場合外，印度農民也會投資黃金，在收成不好的時候可以應急，有些鄉村居民也喜歡買黃金當做儲蓄。強勁的需求加上高額關稅與央行調控，使得黃金走私活動更加盛行，許多在中東、新加坡或斯里蘭卡工作的印度勞工以會走私黃金為條件，交換回家的車票或小賺一筆錢。
