民進黨國際部主任劉世忠今（12）日指出，黨主席蘇貞昌15日（周四）將率團赴泰國，進行4天訪問，關懷台商、聽取台商心聲，做為日後民進黨東南亞投資政策制定的依據。
劉世忠指出，今民進黨每次的出訪都有戰略規劃，蘇貞昌就任後，美國大選結束，日本國會選舉定案，訪星時也跟當地政要有互動，赴美、加也同時回應當地同鄉會熱情的邀請。他說，在2013年下半年度，蘇貞昌繼續拼外交，深化台灣與世界的交流。
劉世忠表示，這次關懷東南亞台商之旅的四大目標包括「深化台商關係、聽取台商建言、擬定投資戰略、活化台商經貿」，這也是有鑑於過去馬政府的政策，以及近期兩岸服貿協議的爭議，可以看出台灣經貿政策過度倚賴大陸市場。
他說，民進黨作為一個希望能夠為人民服務、將來重新執政的政黨，訪泰團盼透過民進黨力量協助台商找尋中國以外的市場，聽取台商們的心聲，並協助台商在海外打拼有更加健全的投資條件。
劉世忠指出，這次行程將拜訪台灣商會聯合總會，蘇貞昌將在晚會進行演講，並實際到台商投資的廠商第一線瞭解台商們的工作狀況，盼透過雙向的溝通達到出訪目標，最後還會參訪東南亞重要文創匯集地之一的曼谷藝文中心。
此次民進黨的泰團團員，包括智庫經濟暨產業小組召集人施俊吉教授、開南大學副校長黃適卓、中評會主委陳勝宏、桃園縣黨部主委也是中國事務委員會發言人鄭文燦、立委高志鵬、吳秉叡、邱議瑩、潘孟安、蔡其昌、蕭美琴，以及民進黨社運部主任黃向群等工作人員。
