現行SUBARU在日本的K-Car輕型車款，自2010年起改由同集團夥伴DAIHATSU操刀、以代工方式進行生產，其中歷史悠久的Pleo車系、則是由在日本大受歡迎的DAIHATSU Mira為基礎衍生，並在2012年底以強調節能表現的Mira e:S為基礎衍生出「Pleo+」。
