【姚瑞宸／綜合報導】洋基左投佩提特(Andy Pettitte)生涯最後一戰，回到故鄉休士頓，出戰自己在2004至2006年效力的太空人隊，以116球完投9局，助洋基以2比1獲勝，以第256勝為個人18季大聯盟生涯畫下句點。
佩提特1995年從洋基農場登上大聯盟，今天這場比賽之前，在18個大聯盟球季中取得255勝153敗，其中2004至2006年在「火箭人」克萊門斯(Roger Clemens)召喚下，加入故鄉德州的太空人隊，3季一共出賽84場，取得37勝26敗。
今天身穿洋基球衣回到休士頓，進行大聯盟生涯「終點戰」，對佩提特個人來說別具意義。
佩提特完投9局，用了116球其中77顆好球，只被擊出5支安打失1分，洋基隊以2比1獲勝。
