約會app 先送禮再約會惹爭議

英國每日郵報報導，麻省理工學院校友韋德（Brandan Wade）研發的新手機約會程式「胡蘿蔔約會」（Carrot Dating），是以男性替追求者購買禮物的方式，邀請佳人見面約會。

上述程式允許用戶在女性面前晃動「胡蘿蔔」，可能是珠寶、一束花、一桶汽油或甚至整形手術，藉此打動芳心。「胡蘿蔔約會」的新聞稿寫道：「給狗一根骨頭，它會服從。送禮物給女人，她會...。」

有人批評新程式「性別歧視」，認為這項行為與「嫖妓」無異，專家認為以賄賂方式尋找戀情，長久下來行不通。

韋德說，他的靈感來自母親，而且新程式可協助醜男克服網路約會的一道障礙。
