休士頓火箭5日作客洛杉磯快艇，挑戰1996-97年球季以來首度開季4連勝，但開賽攻守失序，防守更是漏洞百出，第1節結束以25：42大幅落後。

開賽沒2分鐘，林書豪將快艇「灌籃王」Blake Griffin的快攻毀掉，但差點遭撞飛，Griffin想穩住他的重心，抓著林書豪的球衣，差點將衣服抓破，兩人還有言語交流，形成有趣畫面。

10分34秒，林書豪在禁區盤球找機會，果真讓他找到Omer Asik的空檔，讓這位白人大個輕鬆雙手灌籃。

開局快艇節奏流暢，拉出一波9：2攻勢，加上Jared Dudley連續在外線投進2記三分球，將領先維持在雙位數。

腳踝扭傷、前役缺陣的火箭Omri Casspi今天復出，首節連續飆進3記三分球，是球隊開局唯一亮點。
