【綜合報導】大家都知道邊開車邊傳簡訊很危險，但還是有人照做不誤，德國導演韋納荷索(Werner Herzog)，拍攝一部長35分鐘的紀錄片《一秒之間》(From One Second to the Next)，訪問因開車傳簡訊被撞的人以及肇事者，讓大家知道無論是受害者或是肇事者，都要背負一輩子的痛。
一名女性駕駛超速行駛還邊傳簡訊，直接撞上一名小男孩，造成他半身不遂，媽媽看著原本蹦蹦跳跳的寶貝兒子，變成得靠輪椅行動的肢障人士，媽媽表示兒子本來可以成為運動健將，卻因邊開車邊傳簡訊的駕駛，毀了他的人生。
透過這些案例，導演希望能終結邊開車邊傳簡訊的惡習，不要再讓任何人因此受害。

| 消基會:新版油價公式愈調愈高

消基會今天召開記者會，質疑經濟部即將實施的新版浮動油價公式，應把中油實際購油成本講清楚，而不是找來一個沒太大關係的國際原油來當指標，還說新版公式只會讓油價愈調愈貴。
消基會說，修改公式照理說是中油的事，為何都是經濟部委託台綜院、台經院來研究，偏偏花了錢又無法解決長久存在的公式不公問題，只會再度讓消費者期待落空。消基會認為，中油也應將每周調整的油價改成月調。

| 襟翼故障 空中巴士轉降荷蘭

【綜合報導】美國達美航空一架空中巴士客機7日因襟翼（flap）故障，在由巴黎飛往美國途中轉向，緊急降落在荷蘭阿姆斯特丹的史基普機場（Schiphol Airport）。
根據法新社報導，這架載有3百多人的99航班原定飛往美國底特律，但從巴黎的戴高樂機場（Charles de Gaulle Int’l Airport）起飛後，機長發現無法收回襟翼而被迫轉向降落。

【高堂堯／南投報導】彰化縣16歲李姓少年和19歲男子林姓男子，今年6月14日凌晨2點多趁夜偷機車，結夥至草屯鎮搶劫便利超商，由林男在店外把風、李姓少年持玩具槍威嚇宋姓店員、搶得9500元，但被宋姓店員識破追出，2人連手將宋打傷後逃逸。
警方循線逮捕2人，林煒翔還抱怨李姓少年只分給他700元「不夠義氣！」南投地檢署今天依竊盜、加重強盜、傷害罪嫌將2人起訴，李姓少年由南投地院少年法庭審理中。

手機大戰，LG打頭陣！在紐約時間7號，發表最新機皇，５吋大螢幕，側邊按鈕全不見了，改到背蓋；還有敲一敲就能開機，而同樣在本周發表的，還有陸廠紅米手機，接近五吋大，但換算只要台幣四千有找，眼看對手來勢洶洶,蘋果現在也急了，台灣蘋果通路祭出了,iPad、iPhone全系列產品舊換新，最高可折抵3萬3千元的優惠。
LG發表最新機皇G2，5.2吋的Full HD螢幕搭配保護殼，竟然變成小視窗，省力到不用打開殼就能操作。LG官方廣告：「我們創造了小視窗在保護殼上想使用不用打開殼。」強調操作方便，只要敲一敲就能開機，獨創的窄邊框設計，側邊只有2.65公厘，按鍵通通改到手機背面，新機新功能，對上的就是他。
陸廠紅米手機，7月底熱騰騰上市，兩機比一比，尺寸都在5吋左右，搭載四核心處理器，只不過論解析度還是相機規格，LG都略勝一籌，紅米則是價格和雙卡雙持功能有優勢。分析師余世欽：「中低價位的手機在中國市場也是蓄勢待發，我想下半年智慧型手機市場，應該是今年最熱鬧的行情。」
下半年戰場有多激烈看看宏達電也很拚！宏達電最新宣傳片，短短15秒卻看到酷似小勞勃道尼的背影，讓人聯想小勞勃代言成真，為最新大尺寸HTC T6做預告暖身，甚至連New One都出現新的藍色板。分析師余世欽：「宏達電這個第三季營收，現在看起來真的是滿危險的，蝴蝶機繼續賣，(New)One繼續賣，如果真的有新的，所謂的T6手機加進來，我想在後面衝刺一下還是有希望。」
還有蘋果新機也炒得沸沸揚揚，最近還擴大「舊機換新機」服務，8/31以前新增iphone、ipad等回收項目，換新產品最高可折抵3萬3。同樣是手機廠，卻是幾家歡樂幾家愁，諾基亞傳言明年將裁員17%、大砍8500名員工，目的就是要增加營收，下半年手機戰蓄勢待發，已經聞到了濃濃的火藥味。
