| NIKE創辦人傳奇 跑出新世界

七月份「商周放映室」為讀者企劃了「全世界的品牌大師」影展，本週推薦的《菲爾．奈特 - 跑出全世界的人》，一部紀錄運動品牌龍頭老大NIKE，創辦人菲爾．奈特（PhilKnight）的傳奇故事。
永遠戴著墨鏡，被外界解讀是個脾氣古怪、大膽創新的NIKE創辦人菲爾．奈特，一手將NIKE變成美國流行文化的符號以及運動精神指標，甚至推向全球。與許多的成功的企業家一樣，他的創業動機，是從需求中發現商機。1960年，當時還是史丹佛大學商學院研究生的菲爾．奈特發現：運動鞋市場居然只有兩家德國品牌ADIDAS（愛迪達）和PUMA（彪馬）。德製的鞋子很貴，一雙要價高達9美元，但卻沒有任何一家美國公司出來競爭。直到奈特在日本發現了比德製鞋便宜三倍，又好穿的日製虎牌（Tiger）運動鞋，他嗅到了商機。
26歲的他成功地說服日本Tiger，把美國的經銷權簽給他，讓他進口到美國銷售。於是，奈特和他從前的田徑教練鮑爾曼，各出了500美元，於1964年創立了「藍帶體育用品公司」，開始挨家挨戶到各大學的運動場，向教練、選手銷售運動鞋，短短七年內，成功賣出了十四萬雙虎牌球鞋，直到後來日本Tiger原廠不再續約。
虎牌的經驗讓奈特體會到，要成功，得自創品牌。產品要能成功打進市場，必須先深入了解消費者需求，並結合時下最新的技術，進而改變消費者根深柢固的既有行為。

【綜合報導】波士頓馬拉松爆炸案，19歲嫌犯佐哈爾(Dzohkhar Tsarnaev)，被捕後今天首次公開露面，現身波士頓聯邦法院，根據CNN記者現場報導，佐哈爾顯得相當輕鬆，而且說話帶有濃重的俄國腔調，不過先前訪問他的友人，都表示佐哈爾可以說一口標準英文，他被大陪審團起訴30項罪名，包括殺害4人和使用大模殺傷性武器，在法庭上他提出無罪抗辯。
佐哈爾和哥哥被控犯下4月15日這起爆炸案，造成3人喪生和超過260人受傷。案發4天後在美國警方追捕時，他們又在槍戰中射殺一名大學校警。最後哥哥遭到擊斃，佐哈爾則重傷，後來拘押在波士頓西方一所監獄醫院。
