蘇力颱風襲台，強風豪雨造成災情，國內壽險業包括國泰、新光、富邦、台灣、南山、中信、三商美邦、合作金庫、康健、友邦、全球等公司都啟動多項保戶服務措施，提供受災保戶續期保費及保單貸款利息緩繳、房貸本金寬延、免費補發保單、派員到府協助理賠、保戶車輛免費道路救援拖吊等多項關懷措施。
國泰人壽就啟動「受災區保戶服務措施」因應，包括免費保單換發、保費與保單貸款利息緩繳、受災戶房屋貸款緩繳、理賠預付金、快速理賠服務等措施，其中針對應繳月為今年7月的續期保險費、保單貸款利息，提供受災區域保戶緩繳3個月的措施；至於受災戶房屋貸款本金部分，亦給予緩繳3個月的優惠服務。
富邦人壽也緊急啟動應變方案，凡受災保戶且其保費的應繳月為今年5月至9月者，提供保費緩繳4個月；對於受災保戶應繳的保單借款利息，也可寬延3個月繳息。在快速理賠部分，投保實支實付型商品的保戶，若醫療收據正本因風災損毀，保戶可以遺失聲明及醫療費用明細或收據副本，申請理賠。若保戶因災害住院，可由業務員代保戶申請「住院醫療預付金」，每次墊付以新台幣5000元為限。此外，若經確認罹難者身份及事故，即行理賠，相關所需的死亡證明及除戶戶籍資料可於災後後補。
針對受災保戶，新光人壽也提供相關優惠及強化服務事宜，包括實施保單補發免工本費、緩繳保費與保單借款利息以及房屋貸款本金寬延優惠等。針對災區保戶提供繳納寬限優惠，凡經確認收費地址位於受災地區的保戶，其續期保費或保單借款利息應繳月為7、8兩個月者，該期保費或保單借款利息自應繳日起，經申請後可緩繳3個月；已催告件仍於寬限期間內者，寬限期間自動延長為3個月。
另為體恤保戶因風災造成保單遺失或毀損者，凡受災地區的保戶申請補發保單，至今年11月30日為止將免收保單補發工本費。此外，在房屋貸款本金寬延優惠方面，借款戶確因受災損致還款困難者，依受災戶之申請，提供房屋貸款本金寬延(緩繳)1年的優惠措施。 (接下一頁)
