在電音三太子熱鬧的開場舞動下，由馬管處主辦、為期二十餘天的「2013北海仲夏音樂會」，於7月30日正式登場，活動首日，除了有省交銅管五重奏與超偶歌手擔綱演出外，配合南竿遊客中心新購物點開幕，現場舉辦具馬祖特色的小吃園遊會，攤位前吸引長長人龍等著排隊品嘗，成功炒熱人氣。
「2013北海仲夏音樂會」自即日起至8月21日前的每個周末下午，將在南竿遊客中心前廣場精采演出。7月30日傍晚開幕儀式，先由馬祖陣頭協會演出電音三太子騎馬舞，帶動氣氛；接著由省交銅管五重奏以寓教於樂的方式，演奏美國民謠「老人進行曲」、改編「哆啦A夢」主題曲等曲目，博得滿堂喝采、安可聲連連；壓軸登場的超偶歌手章婉兒，用極具爆發力的唱功，征服台下觀眾耳朵，活動最後在璀璨的高空煙火秀中，劃下完美句點。

另外，設於馬祖南竿遊客中心二樓的「采盟旅遊補給站」，與仲夏音樂會同日剪綵開幕，提供各式馬祖名產、簡餐飲食。遊客可在二樓挑選國際知名品牌商品，或於雅座一面享用餐點，一面欣賞東海美景，亦是享受下午茶時光的好所在。

馬管處表示，8月來馬祖好聽、好吃又超好玩，除了仲夏音樂會之外，生態賞鷗暨海上看馬祖也熱情開航中，8月起，馬祖年度重點活動有莒光鄉的「莒光海洋觀光年」、北竿鄉的「北竿海洋之旅」及東引鄉的「海上看東引」等活動，讓來馬遊客精彩一整個夏天！
