流浪犬頻遭虐殺　屏東動保團體抗議

【洪振生/屏東報導】自狂犬疫情爆發後，家犬遭棄養情況氾濫，流浪狗也遭捕殺、恐慌性毆死。屏東縣團保團體下午帶著幾隻流浪狗到縣府請命，央求縣府勿大規模撲殺流浪狗，並提供足量的疫苗防疫。
 
中華菩提護生協會理事朱義玲指出，近1個月來他的收容中心爆增100多隻狗兒，其中包括流浪狗和家犬，顯然民眾對狂犬病已陷入非理性恐慌情緒。屏東縣關懷動物權益協會理事長吳錦梅說，最近接獲不少求救電話，都是流浪狗在外遭到虐待，甚至是惡意虐殺。
