兄弟象將轉賣，中華聯盟會長黃鎮台19日表示「是中華職棒最大的損失，兄弟象隊有不可取代的貢獻」，黃鎮台強調會盡最大的努力幫助象隊轉賣，希望可以找到好的買主。
黃鎮台表示「今年上半季的時候，洪董事長（洪瑞河）就已透露想要賣球隊的想法」，18日晚象隊召開家族會議及股東會議，確定要轉賣球隊，「領隊洪芸鈴在第一時間就已告知我，我也立即告知另3隊的常務理事」。
象隊是中華職棒的元老球隊，因此將走進歷史，黃鎮台覺得是對中華職棒很大的損失，他說「洪騰勝（兄弟飯店董事長）是職棒的創立者，他們對職棒長達四分之一的經營，有著不可取代的貢獻」。
「永不放棄」是象隊的精神，黃鎮台相信「兄弟象會漂亮地走完最後一哩路」，如果象隊尋找買主，需要幫忙，黃鎮台表示「包括我以及各隊的常務理事，都會盡力幫忙」。
