「東方不敗」張清芳金鐘獎和林佑嘉搭檔，演唱經典戲劇曲目，沒唱到周遊製作的戲，她在台上承諾：「我會再來。」可下台後，才知道表演遭外界批評走音，她坦承很沮喪，搭機離台前還遺憾表示：「我的演出還是有瑕疵，我不怪任何人，但我有了心魔，再要我唱頒獎典禮，我會害怕，很難再答應了。」
向來要求完美的她，典禮前和林宥嘉彩排了5次，這回還在表演中換衣服，好友張小燕勸說「不要換，太辛苦」，可她堅持：「換衣服才能表示尊重。」非但無酬演出，還自備麥克風、耳機，但耳機聲音忽大忽小，她也說：「典禮音效很難控制，無論網友、媒體怎麼罵，我都該承擔。」

她說想回歸「母親」本行，「會場中，幾百個人進出，太多難以預測的狀況。我現在只想趕緊回香港與家人相聚。」張小燕也指出現場演唱困難，「張清芳表演得已算佳作，她心情很不好，老公安慰她，以後就乖乖待在家裡。」而阿Ken主持星光大道不莊重，挨批尺度拿捏不當，猛開綜藝玩笑。

他虛心接受批評，卻對表演嘉賓喊冤：「有人很認真準備，卻得到的是批評，現在製作單位很難邀到大牌了，以後不是更難做？」而金鐘獎製作人王偉忠坦言：「獎項多、時間難以控制，燈光、景深也不夠完美。」在後台見到胡瓜、董至成、陽帆等老友，感慨道：「30年了還是這些人，現在綜藝形式太相近，應該要突破。」
