美航署：機長太依賴自動駕駛

華爾街日報17日報導，美國聯邦航空總署委託的一個飛行安全委員會警告，目前許多民營航空公司的機長太過依賴自動駕駛，他們的手動飛航技能低落且不熟悉最新的座艙技術發展，危及航空旅客的安全。

這份即將公布的研究報告判定，許多機長有時太過依賴自動駕駛系統，且可能不願意在危險或罕見的情況下改為手動駕駛。

報告中說，過去數十年來，自動駕駛大大提升了美國及全球的飛航安全，但此事也有其缺點：有些機長「欠缺足夠及深度的知識和技能」，無法適當控制飛航軌道，而這有一部分是因為現行的飛航訓練方法、設備和時間，讓他們無法充分掌握先進的自動駕駛系統。
