新版Kindle　螢幕將升級300ppi

【李忠謙／綜合外電報導】美國網路零售巨擘亞馬遜（Amazon）9月30日才推出新版電子書Kindle Paperwhite，科技網站TechCrunch前天報導，下一代的Kindle Paperwhite已在研發中，預計明年第2季正式發表。據稱代號「Ice Wine」的新Kindle像素密度達300ppi，且外型將與亞馬遜的平板電腦Kindle Fire HDX類似。

Kindle Paperwhite目前的螢幕為212ppi，但在競爭者Kobo推出265ppi的電子書後，亞馬遜決定一舉站上300ppi，而且螢幕材質從塑膠改採玻璃，增加可自動調節背光亮度的光線感應器，但重量比近年幾款Paperwhite還輕。據稱下一代Paperwhite的操作系統不會大幅改版，但螢幕邊框可觸控翻頁，電源鍵也將移到背面。
