嘉義縣中埔鄉發現死亡的鼬獾及松鼠

嘉義縣中埔鄉今天中午又送2隻死亡的鼬獾及松鼠到嘉義縣家畜疾病防治所。防治所人員表示，昨天早上中埔鄉富收村，有村民看到1隻松鼠因體力不支，多次要爬上樹都摔落，懷疑這隻松鼠可能感染狂犬病，村民因擔心爆發疫情於是打死牠。

此外，中埔鄉三層村1條產業道路，今天早上8點多，有人在路邊看到1隻精神不濟的鼬獾，走在路邊搖搖晃晃，隨即被車子撞死。路人看到後，懷疑這隻鼬獾可能染病，立即通報鄉公所由獸醫師將牠裝帶封存後一併送到防治所。

防治所長翁有助表示，截至今天中午為止，嘉義縣因死亡而被送到農委會家畜衛生試驗所檢驗的野生動物共有4隻，包括1隻松鼠、3隻鼬獾。
