美股周三漲跌互見，台股本周續有電子大廠法說會登場，其中，宏達電法說會後連跌兩根停板，友達則是因出現獲利，股價強攻至漲停，台股1日小紅開出後，因電子股、金融股齊跌，僅靠部分傳產股撐盤，指數震盪走跌，終場收最低，以8056.22點作收，下跌51.72點，成交量僅730.94億元。
美股周三漲跌互見，道瓊工業指數收跌21.05點，那斯達克指數收漲9.9點，S&P500指數收跌0.23點，費城半導體指數漲收2.19點。台股1日以8110.73點開出，小漲2.79點的，但是第3季本業恐將虧損的宏達電仍是跌停鎖死的走勢，股價重挫至148.5元，仍有29486張跌停賣單賣不掉。
鴻海也在媒體報導掉單的消息下出現下跌，不過鴻海則是澄清並沒有媒體報導的情況，但終場仍是收黑，以76.6元作收，下跌1.2元，跌幅1.54%；不過，大立光開平收小紅，可成也在法說報喜下上漲，友達攻上漲停，可惜台積電走跌，電子股跌幅1.08%。
金融股早盤在金管會主委曾銘宗上任提出贊成金融整併的消息激勵下呈現上漲，元大金、兆豐金及中小型銀行股領漲，盤中一度推升金融股漲幅近1%，但尾盤收跌0.27%；生技醫療股盤中漲幅逾1.3%，尾盤收跌0.27%。
