美網／莫瑞衛冕失利 八強賽出局

尋求衛冕的英國網球名將莫瑞今天兵敗美國公開賽，以4比6、3比6和2比6連丟三盤，不敵瑞士第九種子瓦林卡，意外在八強賽就遭淘汰。

瓦林卡（Stanislas Wawrinka）技驚贏得奧運與溫布頓錦標賽冠軍的莫瑞（Andy Murray），首度晉級大滿貫賽準決賽，躋身最後四強後，將遭遇塞爾維亞頭號種子喬科維奇（Novak Djokovic）對俄羅斯第21種子尤茲尼（Mikhail Youzhny）之戰的贏家。

西班牙第二種子納達爾（Rafael Nadal）與法國第八種子賈斯克（Richard Gasquet）將在另一場四強賽對陣。

第三種子莫瑞的表現與兩個月前贏得溫布頓錦標賽時判若兩人，比賽時無精打采，而瓦林卡一開始就發現他的弱點，趁機大開殺戒。

莫瑞在溫布頓封王後，表現看來一直不是很好，但今天在艾許球場（Arthur Ashe Stadium）輸得如此之慘，仍然令人驚訝。
