避險基金SAC認罪

美國當局4日表示，億萬富豪柯恩（Steven Cohen）的避險基金SAC資本顧問公司，已同意認罪，並支付總計18億美元；SAC被控促成猖獗的內線交易文化。

SAC今年稍早遭起訴，被控進行可回溯至1999年的非法計畫，取得數億美元的不法獲利。當時柯恩本人未遭起訴，SAC也已否認不法作為。但柯恩仍面臨美國證券管理委員會（SEC）的行政處分，因為他被控未能監督SAC的活動。

若包括柯恩3月時同意支付SEC、以和解相關訴訟的6.16億美元和解金，SAC的罰金共達18億美元。

不過，這項認罪協議不代表美國當局不再調查SAC或柯恩，當局未來三個月將審理針對SAC經理人的兩樁內部交易訴訟，外界可望更加了解SAC的內部作業。
