【林媛玲／台北報導】歷經8年施工的台北捷運信義線終於要在24日(下周日)上午6時通車了！依捷運路線開通往例，開放免費搭乘1個月，信義線是繼板南線後第2條東西向路線，是東西兩區重要交通聯繫樞紐，台北捷運公司評估，每天超過170萬人次搭乘模式會隨之調整，古亭、東門、中正紀念堂站成為轉運三角核心，可疏解台北車站、忠孝新生站等板南線1成5以上的轉乘人潮，外縣市搭高鐵或飛機從台北車站或松山站民眾，若到台北101也更省時。
