Indians Announce Release Of P Daisuke Matsuzaka http://goo.gl/RfTRle The Indians announced early Tuesday they have released pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka. The official tweet from the team says that Matsuzaka asked for and granted his unconditional release from the organization. Matsuzaka Is now a free agent, and he may have a job lined up, which is why he asked for the release. Matsuzaka was 5-8 with a 3.92 ERA in 19 starts this year for AAA Columbus.
