2011年法網女單冠軍大陸李娜，今天在美國網球公開賽女單四強賽0：2不敵世界第一小威廉絲 (Serena Williams)，無緣決賽，小威廉絲決賽對手是白俄羅斯悍妞雅莎蘭卡(Victoria Azarenka)，重演去年美網決賽戲碼。

大會第一種子小威廉絲vs.第五種子李娜，原本被預期是一場激烈對抗，沒想到兩人一交手，狀況出人意料，恐怖小威勢如破竹，第一盤就以6：0橫掃李娜，小威不論發球、正手、接發球和失誤，都明顯強過李娜，打得更有侵略性。
