在目前的車壇當中，若說到Hybrid，相信多數人會立刻聯想到所謂的油電複合動力車款，即便歐洲品牌近來也推出所謂的「柴電車」，但TOYOTA旗下的油電車依舊負盛名；不過再過幾年，Hybrid這個名詞在車壇當中可能不再單純代表油電複合車款，因為近來傳出，PEUGEOT先前發表的Hybrid Air空氣壓縮複合動力技術，最快有望在2015年就導入市售量產。
